University Institute of Technology

UIT is to be established as Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) Project. In this regard, we have established active collaboration with M/s. Lloyds Metals and Energy Ltd. as private partner and are in process of reaching to similar private partners for our UIT.

The UIT shall offer Twinning Programs under collaboration with Foreign Universities such as Curtin University, Western Australia. Herein admitted students shall have the opportunity to pursue their one academic semester in the Foreign University

The program outcome will be achieved through a mixed mode of delivery viz classroom teaching and on-field learning in the form of embedded industry internships. The duration of such internships shall vary from 1 to 2 semesters of the program.

The UIT, for the purpose of administration, shall have Structured Management and Governance Plan as per norms and guidelines for an autonomous institute.

The proposed UIT shall design and deliver NEP’2020 compliant Model Curricula as prescribed by the apex regulator AICTE, New Delhi.

University Institute of Technology aims to bridge the gap by providing suitable manpower for the exploration of minerals, forest wealth and hydrological resources.

To achieve the above stated objective, an Agreement/MoU will be signed with the employer industry for the placement of these diploma holders and graduates prior to identification and registration of demand by the concerned sectoral industries.
